Established in 1979, Texas Humane Heroes (EIN 74-2069592) is a no kill, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with adoption centers in Leander and Killeen Texas. We rescue dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters that are often forced to euthanize for space or severe medical conditions. In 2021, with our 2 full-time veterinarians, we achieved 3,483 adoptions, 3,569 rescues, and provided low cost services to 9,000 community pets.
